Service Policies & Expectations

At General Master Cleaning, we aim to provide reliable and high-quality cleaning services. the following policies help ensure clear communication and a smooth experience for both our clients and our team.

By scheduling a service with General Master Cleaning, clients acknowledge and agree to the policies listed bellow.

Scheduling & Appointments

Appointments are scheduled in advance based on availability. We do our best to arrive within the scheduled timeframe; however, exact arrival times may vary depending on traffic, weather, or previous appointments.

Cancelation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Late cancelations may be subject to a cancelation fee.

Preparing for your Cleaning

To help us provide the best service possible, we kindly ask that clients:

  • pick up personal items from floors and surfaces

  • provide clear access to the home

  • secure pets if necessary

This allows our team to focus on cleaning rather than organizing.

Condition of Home

The Condition of a home can affect the time and level of cleaning required. Homes with heavy buildup or that have not been regularly cleaned may require a deep cleaning service.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing or recommend a deep cleaning based on the condition of the home at the time of service. 

Initial cleaning may require additional time compared to recurring services.

Laundry Policy

Our standard cleaning service does not include washing personal clothing or personal laundry.

If laundry service is requested inside the home, clients must remove any clothing that requires dry cleaning or special care. we cannot assume responsibility for garments that require special handling.

Bed Linens & Towels
(Vacation Rentals)

For vacation rental properties, we can wash bed linens and towels for an additional fee.

To speed up turnover between guests, we recommend keeping extra sets of sheets and towels available. This allows us to prepare the property faster for incoming guests.

Vacation Rental Scheduling

For vacation rental properties, please notify us as soon as possible if guest request late check-out.

To ensure enough time for cleaning, we recommend the following schedule when possible:

  • Check-out: 10:30 AM

  • Check-in: 4:00 PM

This allows sufficient time for cleaning and preparation, especially during same-day guest turnovers.

Window Cleaning Expectations

Window cleaning removes dirt, dust, and debris from glass surfaces. However, it may not remove:

  • hard water stains

  • scratches in glass

  • mineral deposits

  • damaged seals

Some conditions may require specialized restoration services.

Light Home Maintenance & Repairs

Light maintenance services are limited to minor household task such as:

  • replacing light bulbs

  • replacing air filters

  • installing smoke detectors

  • tightening loose fixtures

We do not perform plumbing, electrical work, structural repairs, or major installations.

Pet Waste Policy

For health and safety reasons, we ask that pet waste be removed from floors, yards, or patios before our arrival.

Our team does not handle or remove pet waste during standard cleaning services.

Biohazard Policy

For safety reason, we do not clean or handle biohazardous materials, including:

  • blood or bodily fluids

  • medical waste

  • hazardous chemicals

  • animal waste

Specialized cleaning services may be required for these situations.

Firearm & Weapons Safety

For the safety of our staff, we ask that all firearms and weapons be safely secured before our team arrives.

Our cleaners do not handle firearms under any circumstances.

Pre-Existing Damage

Our team takes great care while cleaning your home. However, we cannot be responsible for damage caused by:

  • pre-existing conditions

  • improperly installed fixtures

  • fragile items not disclosed before service

Please notify us in advance of any fragile or delicate items.

Employee Non-Solicitaton Policy

Clients agree not to directly solicit, hire, or engage any employee of General Master Cleaning for services outside of our company. 

Any attempt to do so may result in a referral fee or termination of services.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with any part of the service, please notify us within 24 hours so we can address the concern.
